The research group AGI (Art, Globalization, Interculturality)<\/span><\/strong> presents the eighth edition (2020-2021)<\/strong> of the training seminar ON MEDIATION, a theoretical and practical study program on curatorship addressed to artists, curators, critics, students, researchers, art historians and other collectives interested in the creation of exhibitions beyond disciplinary frameworks.<\/p>\n

The ON MEDIATION\/8<\/strong><\/span> program is articulated in two interconnected stages: firstly, the theoretical phase<\/strong>, with lectures led\u00a0by curators of recognized\u00a0international experience, where different methodologies are identified in order to promote the curatorial practice towards a multidisciplinary scenario. Based on the theoretical sessions and the provided working materials, the participants will elaborate a proposal for a tutored exhibition project that will later be evaluated. The practical phase<\/strong> of the eighth edition of On Mediation will take the form of a Curatorial Workshop.\u00a0Details will be provided soon.\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0In previous editions, the curatorial projects developed within the framework of the practical phase have been presented at La Escocesa (2019), Fabra i Coats (2018), Arts Santa M\u00f2nica (2017), \u00e0ngels barcelona gallery (2016), ADN Platform (2015) and Cercle Art\u00edstic Sant Lluc (2014).<\/p>\n
