Anton Vidokle is founder director of e-flux, a publishing platform and archive, artist project, curatorial platform, and enterprise which was founded in 1998. His work has been presented in biennials, art centers and international academies, as the Dakar Biennale, the Venice Biennale, Tate Modern, Musée d’Art Moderne de la Ville de Paris or Harvard University, among others. He has produced projects as The Next Documenta Should Be Curated By An Artist, Do It, Utopia Station, An Imaginary Bank For Everyday Revolutionary Life and Unitednationsplaza, which links art and education, and has its origin with the cancelation of Documenta 6, of which he was co-curator.
This performative lecture closes the theoretical phase of ON MEDIATION/3. In it both points of view of the seminar are shown: the theoretical and the practical. This session, open to the general public, the international curator will present a lecture about museums as factories for the resurrection of the past, followed by one of his latests films, The Communist Revolution Was Caused By The Sun (2015).
