Saas-Fee Summer Institute of Art, Berlin, Germany

It is a nomadic and intensive summer academy that has programs of contemporary critical theory emphasizing an interdisciplinary approach with the objective of understanding the relationship between art and politics. The program is based on seminary-type lectures, in-depth lectures and workshops. It also has night conferences that are free and open to the public. His will is to encourage artists, filmmakers, poets, philosophers, architects, critical theorists and curators whose practice supposes in a certain way a new theoretical wave to consider the possibility of applying for the program.

The center was founded in 2015 by artist and theoretician Warren Neidich and in 2016 he emigrated to Berlin. He is currently co-edited by art critic and poet Barry Schwabsky.
